Meet Cinda

Cinda is a professional, non-clinical social worker who currently administrates an assisted living facility.

She’s also a long-time college adjunct instructor teaching social work, sociology, and women & gender studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

With master’s degrees in social work and theological studies, and a doctorate in communication/cultural studies, Cinda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to all aspects of her work.

In addition to her academic degrees, Cinda has earned certificates in Spiritual Direction, End-of-Life Doula, Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula, Pet Loss Grief Support Specialist, Pet Reiki, English as a Second Language, ESL Online Instruction, and ESL Tutoring. She’s also a non-denominational officiant.

Cinda continually seeks knowledge and personal growth through her teaching and as a student herself.

To that end she is currently pursuing certification in Veterinary Social Work, Dog Massage, and Business English Instruction for ESL students in order to improve and extend her skills.

Meet Chelsea & Tanner!

Cinda currently shares her life with her partner of 39 years and two beloved dogs.

An avid reader, writer, and spiritual practitioner, Cinda firmly believes having a companion who listens, challenges when needed, and supports with kindness and respect is invaluable both in life and at the end of life.

She has benefited from many companions over the course of her own life and now providing that same compassionate companionship to others in a variety of ways online through L&D Services.
